If travelling from the Tamar Bridge Plymouth follow the A38 eventually bypassing Liskeard and Dobwalls. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A390 to St Austell. Drive through
Lostwithiel and up the hill, after approximately 1 mile, turn left onto the B3269 to Fowey.
If travelling from Exeter M5 leave at junction 31 onto the A30 to Bodmin. At Bodmin take the A389 through the town and pick up the B3269 to Fowey.
If you are using Satellite Navigation please change your settings to ‘Avoid ferries’ otherwise you will be directed over the Bodinnick Ferry and through smaller B roads. Also some Sat Nav systems will take you to another small town across the River called Polruan so please ensure that you enter Fowey and the name of the hotel into your system. We are recorded under ‘Places of Interest’ (POI’s) within the hotels section.
Parking & Directions
From the mini roundabout on the outskirts of town, follow the A3082 signed Fowey. At the second mini roundabout, take the first exit, and then the first exit at the third mini roundabout. Follow the road downhill until reaching a right-hand bend signposted Fowey and Main Car Park. Turn left at the bend to go down Lostwithiel Street. Follow the road into town past the church and along Fore Street. The Old Quay House is on the right.
The hotel does not have its own car park. However, there are various carparks throughout Fowey. The Old Station Yard Car Park is about 800 yards further on from the hotel, guests can pay via the meter or on the app ‘Just Park’. There are alternative car parks available. We cannot guarantee spaces as these car parks are operated by an external company and is on a first come first serve basis.
We recommend that you drive into the centre of town, stopping outside of the hotel to drop off your bags (you are able to stop outside the hotel for up to 5 minutes and hold traffic) before proceeding to your preferred car park.
