A focus on suppliers: The White Company
What we love about The White Company is that they can turn a simple bathroom into a spa experience. “How?” you ask, well…
Picture yourself unwinding in a soothing hot bath, listening to your favourite songs on your iPod, taking some much deserved quiet time to relax and devour your favourite magazine from cover to cover. What could make this moment any more perfect? Immerse yourself in a heavenly rich lather of The White Company’s bath gel and you’ll think you’ve been transported to a top coastal spa retreat. Your skin feels rejuvenated, moisturised and glowing for the evening ahead.
“We loved the thoughtful little touches like fresh jugs of milk, bathrobes and the gorgeous scented White Company toiletries”
When a girl’s been hard at work all week, she deserves a relaxing weekend away. A long soak in a curvaceous roll top bath followed by a change into a show stopping dress make for the perfect start to a romantic evening with a 3 course dinner and champagne in the stylish Q restaurant at The Old Quay House luxury hotel in Cornwall.
We feel a special connection to The White Company – from humble beginnings they have grown into a huge success story. For the first 6 months, the business operated out of a small attic room that soon became full of boxes packed with White Company goodies. They owned a computer they didn’t really know how to use, made do with a non-existent advertising budget and packed off orders to the local post office in a mini-metro. Now they’re a global success, and the UK’s fastest multi-channel retailer. Their expertise doesn’t just stop at sumptuous bath-time treats. They also produce lavish bed linen, clothing and furniture too.
The White Company opened its first store, in Chelsea’s Symons Street, in 2001. There are now twenty UK stores, all specialising in supplying a wide range of stylish home accessories and clothing, principally in white. What we love most about The White Company is its clean and elegant image. It fits our classic and contemporary yet boutique style. Their range of bath-time goodies is exclusively available to luxury hotels and we’re always complimented on its zesty fragrance and excellent quality. Guests can’t use enough of it!
To get your hands on these pampering treats, shop The White Company (tip: the fragrance to look for is ‘flowers’) or for a boutique bath time break of your very own book a stay in one of our 11 stylishly appointed rooms in picturesque Fowey.
